Education Night

E11even Management Inc. is pleased to offer a free educational seminar as part of the SX College Showcase experience. For our 2020 event we partnered with industry leaders to bring a variety of ideas, information, and education to aspiring student-athletes.  Our presenting partners included:

2019 Presenter Bios and Topics

Don Williams


Don Williams is veteran college coach who over the past 21 years has coached at virtually every level in the United States including a pro stint in the USL, the NCAA, NAIA and at the Junior College level. Most recently he coached the men and women at Feather River Junior College in California where he was able to transfer 92 players for $4,375,000 in scholarships having his players recruited by many distinguished schools as Penn State, UMass, Florida State, UCLA, Lipscomb, New Mexico State, North Carolina, University of Washington and many more.


Prior to coaching at Feather River Don spent 12 years coaching at California State University at East Bay. Don has also been the men’s head coach at Ohlone College and was also the goalkeeper coach for the Bay Area Seals of the USL. There he coached such notables as Jon Conway who went on to play for the NY Red Bulls, Chicago Fire and Toronto FC of the MLS.


Don is also currently the Director of Coaching for the Northern Nevada State Olympic Development program, is Head of Operations for Sports Recruiting USA, North America and has earned his A License from the United States Soccer Federation.

Madison Guy

Madison Guy is a recent UBC graduate and former captain of the UBC Women's Soccer Team who led the team to a 2015 National Championship. After winning over $50,000 in scholarships and awards during her time at UBC, Madison founded GrantMe, a platform that matches high school students to scholarships and supports students with the application process. Since its inception in 2017, GrantMe has grown to a team of seven and has been named a national semi-finalist for SheEO and was accepted into League of Innovator's accelerator program. Most importantly, GrantMe has successfully helped high school students win over $1,000,000 in scholarships and supports students across Canada in accessing post-secondary education.

Linus Rhode


Originally from British Columbia, Linus is a highly reputable former College Coach, who was most recently the Head Coach of NCAA Division 1, Oregon State University, who play in the PAC-12. 


Rhode played professionally for the New Orleans River Boat Gamblers in the "A" League and for Wynberg St. John's in South Africa. He was a member of the Canadian Olympic Team from 1993-96, and was selected for the Canadian National U-20 Team


Rhode graduated from the University of Portland with a bachelor's degree in organizational communications and captained the team to the NCAA Division I Final Four in 1995.
